Choose My AirBench

The table below details standard AirBench models with example dust or fume extraction applications. Click on the appropriate model number for more detail, or call us for a recommendation.

We can provide a downdraft bench suitable for most applications; if your application is not shown - ask us.

Standard Duty (EX) Heavy Duty with Front Access (FN) Heavy Duty (FP) Heavy Duty with Kneespace (FPK)

 A
Dust extraction - no sparks
EX-A FN-A FP-A FPK-A
Wood, MDF, GRP, plastics, stone, aluminium, brass, non- ferrous fettling and sanding, paint rework, dispensing.
 H
Fine dust extraction - no sparks
EX-H FN-H FPK-H
Similar to A, but for finer dusts - eg toner cartridge dust, carbon fibre, other composites
 B
Very fine dust extraction - no sparks
EX-B FN-B FP-B FPK-B
Very fine dusts - eg fingerprinting; conservation; rapid prototyping; model making.
 L
Cleanroom standard dust extraction - no sparks
EX-L FN-L FP-L FPK-L
HEPA grade filter for pharmaceutical, laboratory, optical, or clean packing area applications.

X
ATEX rated dust extraction for potentially explosive atmospheres

  FP-X

Fine filtration in an ATEX rated unit; designed specifically for dust extraction applications where there may be a risk of explosion.

E
Fume extraction in low volumes
EX-E FN-E FP-E FPK-E
Glues; solvents; spray paints; conformal coatings; cleaning fluids; air brushing.
J
Fume extraction in high volumes
    FP-J
Similar to E configuration; for high volumes of fume and production level operation.
R
Special duty fume extraction
    FP-R
For fumes such as formaldehyde or hydrogen sulphide which cannot readily be processed by standard carbon filtration.

C
Ferrous sanding dust extraction - with some sparks
EX-C FN-C FP-C FPK-C
Light duty ferrous sanding, grinding, deburring, dressing.
D
Welding or brazing fume extraction - with minimal debris
    FPW-D FPT-D
Welding, brazing, and similar processes using ferrous or non-ferrous materials.
K
Heavy spark dust extraction - with debris
    FPW-K  FPT-K
Grinding, sanding, fettling, and hand plasma using ferrous or non-ferrous material.
