S - Smoke/Fine Particles and Fume


AirBench 'S' configurations are specified for applications which generate smoke and gases. This configuration is typically used for solder fume but may also be used for some other types of smoke; additionally this configuration is used for preservation applications where gases and mould spores may be present.

Prefilter EU4-50

  • Type: EU4/50
  • Description: 50mm deep V-section pleated panel

  • Grade: EU4 (approx 95% effective at 5 microns)

Gas Filter Thin Carbon Panel

  • Type: Thin carbon panel
  • Description: 25mm compact panel
  • Construction: Galvanised steel frame. Fully bonded and compacted media.
  • Grade: 207C carbon as standard
  • Estimated life: 6-12 months dependant on level of use.

Main Filter F9 High Efficiency

  • Type: F9 High Efficiency
  • Description: 100mm deep fine paper pleated panel
  • Construction: Galvanised steel frame. Fully bonded media.
  • Grade: F9 (approx 99% effective at 1 micron)
  • Estimated life: 6-12 months dependant on level of use.
