AirBench FP-R - Special Duty Fume
| AirBench FP-R is specified for extraction of fumes which cannot be addressed by standard carbon filtration; these include formaldehyde, hydrogen sulphide, and ammonia. The range uses a special blend of carbon media which contains alumina / potassium permanganate compounds contained within 300mm deep refillable carbon cells. When the carbon media reaches the end of its life the cells are easily refilled, saving on full life cost by avoiding the need to replace a whole filter cell. The media has the added benefit of changing colour when it reaches capacity providing a visual indicator of the need for replacement. |
| AirBench FP is a heavy duty downdraft bench, and is constructed from fully welded 2mm steel panels, powder coated grey. The surface is constructed from 3mm thick perforated steel, powder coated after fabrication with a smooth finish. Filters are positively clamped against soft rubber seals; filters can be quickly accessed via the top for cleaning. Replacement is also via removal of the surface. Filter changes can be accomplished in minutes. All units are supplied with an integral 240v fanset with IP56 motor enclosure; on/off switch (optional speed control); 3m mains lead; and fused plug. A precision filter pressure loss gauge is fitted as standard on all units to allow real-time monitoring of filter condition. AirBench FP is robust, and is designed for continuous, production level duty with surface loads up to 150kg. Performance and pricing is identical to comparable EX and FN models.
